I recently moved from Iowa City, Iowa to Portland, Oregon where I spend most of my time drawing comic books!
ADULT COMICS:
My first major comic book project was Small Favors, an erotic romantic comedy about women who love each other and like to have fun, happy sex! Small Favors is published by Eros Comix, the adults-only imprint of Fantagraphics Books. Read a review at Artbomb.net! Back-issues and two collected volumes may be ordered by ADULTS ONLY from Eros Comix.
FUN FOR EVERYONE COMICS:
Banana Sunday, a new comic written by Root Nibot, is now available. It's a comedy for readers of any age, with a lot of romance and monkeys and other silliness! It's a four-issue mini-series, to be collected in one volume in Spring 2006 by Oni Press! It's a hoot!
ILLUSTRATION STUFF:
I've done illustration work for several magazines, including On Our Backs, Curve, Girlfriends, Nickelodeon Magazine, and Computer Source; and my comic art has appeared in Out, What Right?, True Porn, and Mein Heimliches Auge (My Secret Eye). I keep an online portfolio of some of my illustration work HERE.
WORKING FOR PRIDE:
I am a member of the steering committee for Prism Comics, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting the work of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered creators in the comics industry, and LGBT themes in comics as a whole.
